Hardware Maintenance

 

Hardware warranties are useful, but as they only cover parts and are generally 'return to base', they do have limitations. Are you willing to gamble on your system going wrong? Can you imagine being without your computer system for days or weeks at a time and how many problems this would cause? 

 

By taking out a Gala Technology Hardware Maintenance contract you can ensure that you do not lose time and money through equipment failure.

If after an initial telephone diagnosis a hardware fault is identified, an engineer will be dispatched to your premises with the appropriate spare parts.

 

If he cannot fix the problem on-site you will be supplied with a loan unit whilst your equipment is being repaired. All repair and labour costs are covered by this support package. You can choose whether to cover all of your equipment or just certain critical items. The standard response time for an engineer to be on-site is 8 hours.

 

Optional 4 and 16 hour response times are available. Please note that if you are supplied with a loan CPU, additional software installation and configuration will be necessary to reflect the setup of your original unit. Should you wish us to do this for you, the CPU will need to be covered by a System & Application Software or Backup Administration support package as well as Hardware Maintenance.
